EY Head Of Global Energy Cybersecurity Council: We Need To Reconsider Digital Infrastructure To Stave Off Cyber Challenges.
During a press conference held as part of the World Government Summit 2023, the Head of Cybersecurity for the Global Energy Sector at EY: We need to reconsider the digital infrastructure to ward off the threat of cyber challenges.

Clinton Firth, EY Global Energy Cybersecurity Leader, called for a reconsideration of the information technology infrastructure of countries, at a time when the world is witnessing a significant rise in the use of artificial intelligence systems in various sectors globally, noting that it should Countries work to develop and modernize their infrastructure with strong defense systems that enable them to repel any cyber-attacks.
Firth stressed during the press conference which was held as part of the first day of the World Government Summit 2023, the importance of artificial intelligence applications in developing and speeding up the delivery of government services and enhancing the quality of life.
Firth indicated that governments have begun to gradually shift to the digital world through the use of artificial intelligence systems and applications, stressing that this requires a review of the information infrastructure of countries.
