With The Participation Of Cyber Security Experts From 70 Countries The World Cyber Championship Concludes Its First Round In Burj Khalifa, Dubai

The first round of World Cyber Championship concluded in Dubai on January 23, the first and largest A professional championship for cyber- programmers, information security and cyber experts. which aims to bring together experts in the cyber security field and launch a set of challenges aimed at qualifying cadres and exchanging experiences to protect the global cyberspace.

The first round of the championship, which was held in Burj Khalifa, Dubai, was attended by cybersecurity experts from more than 70 countries, and the UAE was represented by a group of cybersecurity professionals, which provided an opportunity for young cadres in the country to interact with best practices and expertise in this field.

The World Cyber Championship was split into three phases, the first round of the championship is part of the championship’s phases, along with the second and third phases to be hosted on the sidelines of the GISEC in March. The championship organizer has allocated $100,000 to the winners of the first round challenges, while it will be in addition to $1,000,000 in the final round.

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of the Cyber Security Council of the Government of the United Arab Emirates, stressed that: " Cyber Security Council aims to increase the culture of cyber security in the society, which represents the first line of defense against attacks that our society may be exposed to."
