Within The Activities Of The World Government Summit 2023 The UAE And The Republic Of Montenegro Sign A Memorandum Of Understanding In Cyber Security
The United Arab Emirates signed with the Republic of Montenegro a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of cyber security on the sidelines of the World Government Summit held in Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al-Kuwaiti, Head of the Cyber Security Council of the UAE Government, The MOU aims to build distinguished relations between the two countries in the field of cyber security by activating joint efforts and exchanging experiences to enable work in the field of cyber security, and to create a safe cyber environment that helps individuals achieve their safety and enables companies and institutions in the two countries to develop in a safe and prosperous environment.
H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al-Kuwaiti, stated after signing the MOU that it comes within the framework of strengthening international cooperation in the field of cyber security, which the cyber security council seeks to consolidate with various countries, believing that cyber security is a system of international efforts that can’t be carried out by local governments alone, adding that the UAE always seeks to activate and sustain regional and international action to reduce cyberattacks in the digital space.
The Cyber Security Council participates in the activities of the World Government Summit with the presence of H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al-Kuwaiti, by attending sessions and workshops, where the Council was actively present as a keynote speaker in the dialogue Accelerating Moonshot inspiration dialogues, which sheds light on how on the radical moonshot thinking and how the breakthrough thinking will faster exponential innovation and inspires countries to envision the future, and in the dialogue session "Before the Attack: Cyber Security in the Digital Age" at the Arab public administration forum as well as at the accelerating moonshot discovery dialogues.
The World Government Summit 2023 is held in Dubai with more than 220 sessions, in which 300 global prominent figures from presidents, ministers, experts, thinkers, and future makers will speak, and it also hosts 22 global forums focused on developing policies, strategies, and future plans that enhance the readiness and flexibility of governments for the next stage of development, and the summit signed 80 bilateral agreements and launched 20 strategic reports in cooperation with a group of knowledge partners and shareholders, in addition to this, the summit constitutes the unifying platform for the largest number of global organizations, This year, it brings together more than 80 global and regional organizations and hosts global leaders from the private sector and elite scientists.
