Initiative Cyber Pulse

The Cyber Security Council in the United Arab Emirates launched the “Cyber Pulse initiative”, in cooperation with its strategic partners, which comes to accumulate the efforts initiated by the United Arab Emirates in the field of cyber safety, and the implementation of the National Cyber Security Strategy, and was nominated to win the WSIS 2023, as well as launch the first phase of the initiative in June 2022, to be a pillar of the fifty digital projects and aspires to spread the culture of cyber Security in the UAE society in line with the digital transformation in all sectors.

As it is a comprehensive national initiative that promotes a culture of social responsibility by securing the country's cyberspace, and consolidation of the concept of cyber national loyalty.

The initiative aims to enhance digital protection, ensure a safe digital transformation, increase digital awareness among members of society, and enable them to use the achievements of digital technology in a less threatening environment and achieve the country's goals in sustainable development, as well as the initiative includes workshops and sessions on information security incidents.

The first phase of the initiative targeted women and families, where the General Women's Union, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood (SCMC), Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) "Mother of the Nation", launched the Cyber Pulse initiative for Women and Families in collaboration with the Cyber Security Council and its strategic partners. This was aimed at increasing digital awareness and safe digital practices in the face of the rapid digital acceleration witnessed by the world, where family and Emirati women are the most important pillars of this initiative.

The initiative aims to enhance women's participation in Cyber Security, form groups of specialized female cyber cadres, increase digital awareness and safe guidance for the use of technologies in a positive way, spread the culture of social responsibility in the digital space, and keep pace with the proactive approach of the state in facing the various challenges posed by accelerated digital technologies and make optimal use of the advanced digital infrastructure owned by the country and qualifying female trainees of all ages, and provide courses, workshops, and sessions targeting 50,000 participants from members of society.

The Cyber Security Council, in cooperation with the General Women's Union, seeks to enhance women's participation in the field of cyber security and qualify them to increase digital awareness among members of society, and drive sustainable development in various fields to

make the UAE the world's best country in all areas by its first centennial in 2071. which constitutes a clear road map for government action.

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the Cyber Security Council of the UAE Government, stressed that the national Cyber Security standards achieve the country’s strategic plan in protecting, securing, and preserving its gains and achievements in various sectors and fields in accordance with the highest international standards. and that the Cyber Security Council intends to implement the initiative through three axes, namely the media, educational, and, private sector axes.
