The Cyber Security Council of the United Arab Emirates government, in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent, organized a workshop titled "Cyber Security Ambassadors’ Workshop" at the Sharjah Center Hall, with the aim of enhancing awareness and cybersecurity skills in the charitable sector. Additionally, the workshop aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and necessary tools to protect sensitive data and information in the charitable work environment, which is considered one of the most important sectors in the UAE.
The workshop hosted a group of experts specialized in the field of cybersecurity during its training and practical sessions. The sessions covered various topics such as risk analysis, security vulnerabilities assessment, prevention techniques, and response to cyber-attacks, as well as best practices in cybersecurity management to avoid any breaches or security gaps that could lead to unauthorized access to personal and confidential information and data. The workshop witnessed active participation from employees and volunteers in the charitable sector, who benefited from the workshop and demonstrated their ability to apply the concepts and techniques in their work environment.
This workshop reflects the commitment of the Cyber Security Council to implement its strategy aimed at enhancing individuals' knowledge and experience in the field of cybersecurity. It aims to prepare a generation of capable citizen youth who can contribute to the digital advancement of the United Arab Emirates and protect all sectors and infrastructures from information security risks and malicious attacks. These risks can cause harm to institutions and individuals and hinder progress in the field of cyber security protection and securing cyberspace. This is achieved through cooperation with various entities and organizations to confront any threat that may jeopardize cybersecurity in the UAE.
