The Cyber Security Council and Oracle signed a memorandum of understanding during the Oracle Cloud World Tour that was held in the capital, Abu Dhabi, with the aim of expanding cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Government Cyber Security Council, and Nick Redshaw, Senior Vice President of Cloud Technology in the Middle East and Africa Region, Head of Oracle Corporation in the UAE.
The Cyber Security Council and Oracle will work to enhance cyber security in the country, by exchanging information and updates on modern security threats, best practices, and technical solutions to combat cyber-attacks, and organizing continuous training courses and awareness events in all sectors to enhance awareness of the importance of cyber security and enhance the ability to address cyber threats. effectively and proactively.
H.E. Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti said: “We in the Cyber Security Council are determined to build a cyber security system that constitutes an interface to protect all the various vital sectors in the country, supported by a safe and efficient environment in accordance with the best international practices. We also work permanently and continuously and in cooperation with partners, institutions and individuals as well. To enhance cyber security in all vital sectors through an advanced and fortified digital security system that enhances the UAE's global leading position in various fields.
The United Arab Emirates is considered among the leading countries in promoting and developing a secure digital infrastructure, and this comes within its strategic plans, The country has made great efforts to develop the infrastructure in a way that supports all sectors, by enhancing cyber security and providing strong protection for digital networks and systems, to meet cyber challenges and ensure business continuity.
