The Cyber Pulse Ambassadors program launches the start of the collaboration between the UAE Cyber Security Council and the Red Crescent Society of the United Arab Emirates

Recognizing the importance of promoting cyber security culture in the UAE to become an integral part of the Emirati society's culture, in parallel with the increasing adoption of technology and comprehensive digital transformation at the individual and institutional levels, and continuing the efforts made by the Cyber Security Council and the tireless work to immunize Emirati families from the risks of cyber-attacks and establish a secure and robust cyber infrastructure in the country, the collaboration between the Cyber Security Council and the UAE Red Crescent is launched to support the UAE leadership's visions represented in "We The UAE 2031" to be among the top 3 countries in the world in the cyber security readiness index.

Under this collaboration, a group of volunteers will be trained to become qualified ambassadors to increase cyber security awareness across all segments of society, enhancing and raising awareness of good cyber security practices and stimulating public interest in learning about cyber security and safety across different age groups in the country.

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security Council, said: "The importance of this program and other initiatives of the Cyber Pulse lies in enhancing public awareness of cyber security concepts and the impact of common threats whether on the individuals, families, institutions, and even society, and this program seeks to activate the role of individuals in the community and empower them to contribute to the elevation of cyber security knowledge and adaptability among different segments of the Emirati society."

The Cyber Security Council cadres worked in collaboration with the UAE Red Crescent to design the Cyber Pulse Ambassadors program to qualify staff and volunteers from various segments of Emirati society through cyber training workshops to develop the skills of volunteer ambassadors by experts of the Council as a first step for them to transfer their knowledge to various members of the society and institutions.

The Cyber Pulse Ambassadors program is a national volunteer initiative led by the Cyber Security Council in collaboration with the UAE Red Crescent, and anyone who possesses the necessary skills to transfer knowledge can register and participate in the program to be part of the Cyber Pulse Ambassadors team, who will form the nucleus in the advanced stages of the Cyber Pulse Ambassadors program that contributes to raising awareness of the importance and how to use technology in a safe and productive manner.
